Find a receipt reference

Find the code to quote when asking a business about your receipt.

Updated 22 October 2026

The Document reference is a short code on your receipt PDF that helps the business identify the copy you received.

Where to find it

Open the receipt PDF. An order receipt shows the code under Order Details. A direct payment receipt shows it under Payment details. Quote the document reference when asking the business about that copy.

An order number identifies an order, and a payment reference identifies the payment. The document reference identifies the saved PDF; knowing it does not grant access to the file.

Corrected receipts

A corrected receipt has its own document reference. Keep the corrected copy and use its reference when asking about it. The previous PDF keeps the reference printed on that copy.

When the reference isn't there

  • You received a payment confirmation but no PDF: The payment may be verified while document delivery still needs attention. Ask the business for the receipt, quoting the payment or order reference you have.
  • The download link no longer opens: Ask the business for a fresh authorized link. A document reference alone cannot reopen it.

For help with the order itself, see About orders.

To request a saved copy in a conversation, see Ask Qyra for your documents.
