Manage appointments at the counter
Find appointments, reschedule, record attendance and cancel a booking from Qcom Counter.
Updated 22 October 2026
Open Bookings for appointments across your workspace. Booking read access lets you browse without a shift. Use Create a counter appointment for a new booking or Take an appointment payment for deposits and balances.
Find an appointment
Use By day, the day controls or All appointments. Search by customer or service. Needs outcome shows appointments awaiting attendance; it does not mark no-shows automatically. Open View appointment for its time, customer, notes and status. A confirmed appointment may still have no attendance recorded or money left to pay.
Record attendance
Open your own shift in More, at the appointment's branch. You need Booking write access; Support access alone does not permit appointment work. Ask your workspace owner or admin to assign Booking access.
After the slot ends, choose Mark attended or Mark no show and confirm. Attendance records the outcome, not an early arrival or payment. Marking attended may complete connected order work and trigger follow-up. A recorded outcome cannot be overwritten here; ask your owner to review a mistake.
Cancel an appointment
Choose Cancel appointment, select Customer request or Business request, add an optional note and confirm. Cancellation releases the slot. It does not refund money. Only actions allowed for the current appointment are shown.
Move an appointment
Choose Reschedule appointment, select a day and available start time, then Review new time. Check both times before choosing Move appointment. The replacement keeps the service, customer, duration, group size, agreed price and payment history. Availability is checked again when saving.
If the result is uncertain, refresh the original appointment and check Bookings before trying again. A missing response may mean the move succeeded. Moving a booking does not collect or refund money.
Read payment progress
The payment section shows collected money after refunds, the remaining balance and payments awaiting review. A deposit may confirm a held booking while leaving a balance. A hold is temporary; check its expiry before promising a confirmed appointment. See Take an appointment payment.
With Payment read access, Payment requests shows individual requests and their states. Request paid refers only to that request. Use Previous requests, Next requests and Refresh payments for history. Permission to request payments also exposes Ask for payment, which opens the dashboard payment sheet in another tab. Review its amount, payer and delivery options before sending.
When a step cannot finish
- Access or setup: ask your owner to check Booking permissions. Open your own shift at the correct branch.
- Appointment is not eligible: actions depend on its status, existing attendance and slot end. Missing scheduling details must be reviewed before choosing a new time.
- Could not load or save: refresh before another action. A lost response may still have saved; the counter never automatically repeats it. If availability changed, choose another offered time and review again.
Open Open full appointment for refund review and further payment investigation. Continue with Create a counter appointment or Take an appointment payment.
