Billing
When your subscription is suspended
What a suspended workspace can still do, what stops, and how to get everything back.
Updated 22 October 2026
A paid subscription that isn't renewed by the end of its billing period is suspended. Your workspace goes read-only until you renew — nothing is deleted.
How it works
Renewal is due at the end of your billing period, and it's enforced on that date. There's no extra window afterwards: when the account is due, it's due.
When it happens, three things tell you:
- A red banner across the top of every page — Your subscription is suspended
- A message in your notification bell, and an email
- A card on Settings → Billing → Overview with a Renew now button
Your plan is kept, so renewing puts you back on the same plan in one step.
What still works
You can browse everything. Contacts, conversations, orders, reports — all still readable, so you don't lose sight of your business.
You can also still use the parts you need to fix it: billing, payments, plans, your support requests and your notifications all work normally.
What stops
Anything that changes or sends something. Replying to a customer, sending a campaign, creating an order, editing a contact — all of it is refused with a message telling you the subscription is suspended and to renew.
Get it back
- Choose Renew subscription on the banner, or Renew now on the Billing overview.
- Pay at secure checkout.
Everything resumes as soon as the payment goes through. If you'd rather come back on a different plan, use Settings → Billing → Manage Plan — that page still works while you're suspended.
To avoid it happening again, save a card as your Primary payment method so the renewal is taken automatically.
A different kind of pause
If the banner reads This workspace is paused instead, this isn't a payment problem. The plan on the account that owns this workspace no longer includes it. Nothing has been deleted, and paying from here won't fix it — the owner needs to upgrade, and then everything comes back.
When renewing doesn't fix it
- Nothing changed after paying. Reload the page. If the banner is still there, check Settings → Billing → History to confirm the payment actually completed.
- The payment was declined. Add a different card or mobile money number under Payment methods and try again.
- You're blocked from everything, including billing. That's a different kind of suspension — one our team applied — and it can't be lifted by paying. Use Contact support on the banner.
