Billing

Your first 14 days

Every new workspace gets a free 14-day trial. What you get, when the clock starts, and exactly what happens when it runs out.

Updated 22 October 2026

Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial, free and without a card. You get the same trial whichever plan you looked at when you signed up — the plan you picked there is remembered so we can show it to you later, but it isn't what you're charged for or limited to.

When the clock starts

The trial starts when your workspace is verified and activated, rather than when you submit your signup.

Complete the verification steps shown in your workspace before you try sending messages.

What you can do during it

Contacts, campaigns to your lists, automations, and reporting. The banner across the top counts the days down, and turns amber for the last three.

The trial uses Starter features with smaller trial allowances. It does not include every feature or channel available on other plans. Your usage page shows what's left; check the plan comparison for the features your business needs.

One per workspace

A workspace normally gets one trial. Cancelling and coming back does not restart it. If you need help evaluating Qcom, contact support; an extension requires review and is not guaranteed. Do not create another workspace to restart your trial.

When it ends

Nothing is charged, because we never took a card. Nothing is deleted.

You choose a plan. One screen asks which, the first time you open Qcom afterwards, and your answer is recorded for the whole workspace.

Sending waits for that answer. Your saved work remains and incoming messages still arrive. Outbound allowances are held at zero until you choose a plan. Selecting Free deliberately restores its normal allowances; it does not restore trial features.

Compare the current allowances and features in Settings → Billing → Manage Plan before choosing. Free does not include SMS sends or campaigns to a contact list. Choose a plan that supports the channels, team and work you intend to continue.

You can't miss the question — it's a full screen, and it waits until you answer it.

What doesn't happen

Trial expiry does not delete your saved work. It does change which features and allowances you can use. Do not assume that a smaller plan supports the same team capacity or operations; check the plan comparison before switching.

One thing to check before it ends

Check campaigns scheduled after your trial ends. Selecting Free does not enable campaigns to a contact list. A paid plan must support the campaign's channel and have the required sending capacity. The Starter trial does not include WhatsApp marketing campaigns.

If something is scheduled past the end date, choose a plan first or move the send earlier.

Check capacity before sending

Use your usage page to check the current allowance and remaining capacity after a plan change. The trial has its own smaller sending limits; do not use a paid plan's headline allowance to estimate how much trial capacity remains.

An existing wallet balance does not automatically choose a plan when the trial ends. Choose your plan first, then check whether the operation needs an included allowance, a usage pack or wallet credit. Credit does not make an unsupported feature available.

Paying at any point

The trial is an optional evaluation step. You can buy a suitable paid plan without waiting for the trial to end. Once the payment goes through, the paid plan replaces the trial and its remaining days.

Paying after it has ended works the same way, and the plan screen stops appearing.
