A/B test your campaigns

Compare different variants of your email campaign to find the message that performs best with your audience.

What is campaign A/B testing?

A/B testing lets you send two or more variants of an email campaign to a portion of your audience, measure which variant performs better, and automatically send the winner to the remaining recipients. This is currently supported for email campaigns only.

Setting up variants

When you enable A/B testing, you can customize different elements across your variants:

  • Subject line — test different hooks, lengths, or personalization tokens
  • Sender name — compare a brand name vs. a personal name
  • Email content — try different layouts, CTAs, or imagery
  • Send time — test whether morning or afternoon delivery performs better

Winner selection

Configure how the winning variant is chosen and when the decision is made:

  • Winner metric — choose between open rate or click rate as the success metric
  • Confidence level — set the statistical confidence threshold (e.g. 95%) before a winner is declared
  • Test duration — define how long the test runs before evaluating results
  • Auto-select winner — automatically send the best-performing variant to the remaining audience once the threshold is reached
