Choose what customers see in their profile

Show selected profile fields in customer chat and review changes to details you already hold.

Updated 22 October 2026

Your customers can ask Qyra or a bot for My profile. They see their name, saved delivery addresses, current memberships or plans, and the profile fields you choose to show. Internal notes, tags, scores and restricted fields are not included.

Choose the fields

Open Contacts → Customer profile fields. Add a field if you need one, then turn on Show in customer profile. Turn on Let customer update this if customers should be able to supply a value in chat. For a sensitive field, a customer needs a code sent to another contact channel already on file before they can make that change.

An ordinary field with no value is filled when the customer answers. If you already hold a different value, the answer waits in Customer profile changes on that customer's page. Your team can compare the two values and keep the current one or use the customer's answer. The current value stays in place until someone decides.

Sensitive fields show their names while withholding their values. When another saved contact channel is available, customers can verify to view one value or suggest a change to an editable field. A different existing value still waits for your team to review. Without another saved channel, the value stays hidden and chat changes are unavailable. Restricted fields never appear in customer chat. Email addresses and phone numbers use the separate Contact methods option in My profile, with its own verification checks; they aren't edited as ordinary profile fields.

Check a suggested change

Open the customer in Contacts and find Customer profile changes. Compare the current value with the suggested answer, choose what to keep, and confirm. If the field or current value changed since the suggestion, refresh the customer and review again.

Keep current declines that suggestion; Use customer answer replaces the field with the reviewed answer. After confirming, refresh the profile and check the saved value and whether the suggestion is still open. If the result is uncertain, check first rather than approving the same change again. Reviewing an ordinary profile field does not change a verified email address or phone number.

If the customer cannot change a detail

Check that the field is shown and editable. A sensitive change also needs another saved contact channel for the verification code. If there is no such channel, or the customer asks to change how your business contacts them, a person can help.

If your team cannot load the fields or suggestions, refresh the profile or ask an admin to check access. An unavailable section does not mean there are no suggestions. Do not make a sensitive field public or disable its checks to get around a verification problem.

For the customer steps and verification limits, see Add or change your contact method in chat.
