Create a workspace

Add another workspace under the same billing account while keeping team and customer data separate.

Updated 22 October 2026

Create a workspace when one business account needs a separate operating area for another branch, brand, client, or team.

Create it

After signing in on mobile, accounts with several workspaces show Choose workspace. Tap the workspace you want to open. Accounts with one workspace open it directly. Closing the sign-in selector returns you to sign-in.

On mobile, tap the workspace name at the top of More to open the Workspaces sheet. Choose another workspace to switch; Current marks the one you are using. The Create workspace button stays at the bottom of the sheet. Creating a workspace requires an owner or admin role and a Scale or Enterprise plan on the main account. The screen explains when creation is not available. Workspace icons come from More → Workspace → Edit workspace. A workspace without an uploaded icon shows its initials.

  1. Open the workspace switcher.
  2. Choose New workspace.
  3. Enter the workspace name.
  4. Invite teammates if needed.
  5. Choose payout handling where your plan supports it.
  6. Create the workspace.

Edit an additional workspace

On the main account, open Settings → Profile & workspace → Additional workspaces. This lists the additional workspaces under that account that you can access. Choose Edit settings to switch into one and edit its workspace name, logo and other details. Save your changes there. If your role only allows reading settings, the action says View settings.

Switching changes the active workspace across the app. If you have unsaved changes, save them or confirm that you want to discard them before switching. Use the workspace menu at the top right to return to the main account. Team access is managed in Settings → Team inside each workspace.

What is shared

The new workspace can share billing and plan access with the parent account. Its customers, conversations, Catalog, stock, inboxes, automations, and team assignment are managed separately, so a branch or shop can hold and sell its own stock.

Plan limits and usage are pooled: contacts, team members, messages and AI credits across all the workspaces count against the main account's one plan. The Scale plan allows your main workspace plus up to 3 more; Enterprise has no fixed cap.

After creation

Set up channels, contacts, Catalog, team roles, and automation in the new workspace. Creating the workspace does not copy every setting from the previous one.

Common problems

  • The current plan does not allow more workspaces.
  • A teammate invite uses the wrong email address.
  • The new workspace has no connected channels yet.
  • Users expect contacts or campaigns from another workspace to appear automatically.
  • Finish workspace onboarding
  • Create an inbox
  • Manage contacts
