Finish workspace onboarding
Use the short guided view to complete the most relevant first-run tasks for your workspace.
Updated 22 October 2026
Guided setup presents three first-run decisions from the same live state used by the header, Platform Setup and Qyra. Progress made anywhere appears here too.
Where it is
- Qcom opens
/onboardingautomatically once for a new workspace. - Help opens this guide without losing progress.
- I'll do this later returns to the dashboard and stops automatic opening. The header setup icon can reopen the checklist, Platform Setup or this guide.
The three steps
Qcom guides you through connecting a customer channel, confirming setup priorities, and—when your plan includes Qyra—turning your website into its first reviewed context. Previous, Next and Skip for now stay fixed at the bottom while content scrolls.
The priorities step shows all available goals, with industry suggestions first. Nothing is selected automatically; choose up to five. You can also add a short optional description of what your business offers. Your choices reorder Platform Setup, and the description gives Qyra business context, without bypassing plan guards or marking work complete.
Bot publishing, contact import, campaigns, payments and security stay in the full Platform Setup list. They cannot be pulled into the three-step wizard by recommendation ranking.
Give Qyra its first context
The final step uses Qcom's governed Knowledge flow. The website is filled from Brand Profile, then registration, and can be changed before retrieval.
Select Review website to check the captured text. Use with Qyra publishes the approved content.
You do not need an Inbox to add context. Choose which knowledge an Inbox uses later, when you create that Inbox.
When the channel step is complete
Connecting an account creates a channel source. Assign it to an Inbox so Qcom knows which team receives its conversations. The step completes when an Inbox has a connected source.
The cards follow your current plan:
- WhatsApp Business and Telegram open their connection flow when enabled.
- Instagram and Facebook require Starter or above.
- A locked card explains the required plan before any provider connection begins.
Web Chat and WhatsApp Web remain under Inboxes → Connections for later.
What this guided setup does not replace
For the full checklist, open Platform Setup. Progress you make in guided setup appears there too. Review and publish information imported from your website in Knowledge before Qyra uses it.
Platform Setup may also suggest a small set of starters based on your priorities and industry. Nothing is selected automatically. Choose up to three to create editable drafts; Qcom never publishes, sends, activates, connects a provider, or adds customers to a group from a suggestion.
Common problems
- Channel still appears. Assign its source to an Inbox, then refresh if needed.
- A card says Starter+ or Growth+. That channel is not included in the current plan. Choose another channel or open Plans from the card.
- A task is not useful now. Skip it here; hide or restore optional tasks from Platform Setup.
