Add a booking

Book someone in yourself, or against the services an inbox already offers.

Updated 22 October 2026

Appointments schedule time for a customer, service, or internal follow-up. They do not prove payment, lead conversion, or service completion by themselves.

Create it

  1. Open the Bookings area.
  2. Choose Add booking.
  3. Select a contact when the appointment is customer-related.
  4. Choose an Inbox for a customer booking. Use Workspace schedule only for a staff-entered manual appointment that should not use an Inbox's booking rules.
  5. Pick the date, time, and duration.
  6. Add notes if needed.
  7. Add the booking.

After creation

Open the appointment to change its status as things happen — confirmed, kept, cancelled, or a no-show. If it came from a bot or a Catalog service, that bot, inbox and item keep their own settings; changing the appointment doesn't change them.

Appointments aren't assigned to a particular person on your team. Who does the work is yours to arrange.

Common problems

  • No booking setup exists for the selected inbox.
  • The selected time is outside available hours.
  • The appointment has no contact when customer follow-up needs one.
  • A service was booked but not marked completed after the work happened.
  • Create a bot
  • Manage leads
  • Use workspace wizards
