Settings & Configuration

Set up how your messages are sent

Choose the email address, sending domain, and SMS sender ID your customers see.

Updated 22 October 2026

Settings → Message Settings is where you decide what your customers see in the *From* line — the email address, the domain behind it, and the name on an SMS.

How it works

The page has two sub-tabs.

Email domains covers two things, in the order you usually do them:

  • Sender emails — the individual addresses you're allowed to send from. Each one is confirmed by clicking a link we email to it.
  • Sending domain — proves your whole domain is yours, so mail from it lands better and stops being marked as sent on your behalf.

Your public website lives on Business profile, not here.

SMS sender IDs is where you ask for the short name that appears as the sender on a text message.

WhatsApp isn't here. Connecting and managing a WhatsApp number lives in Inboxes → Connections.

Which one do you need

  • Sending from one or two addresses, and happy with the default? Verify a sender email is enough.
  • Sending campaigns, or you want your own branding on every message? Authenticate the sending domain as well.
  • Sending SMS in a country that requires a registered sender name? Request an SMS sender ID.

Each of those has its own guide — follow the links below rather than working from this page alone.

When it doesn't work

  • You can't see Message Settings. It stays hidden until your workspace has submitted its verification details.
  • Your address still shows as unverified. The confirmation email has to be opened from that mailbox. Nothing on this page can confirm it for you.
  • A domain change hasn't taken effect. DNS records take time to spread. The domain guides explain what to look for.
  • An SMS sender ID is still pending. Sender IDs are reviewed outside Qcom, so approval isn't instant.
  • Verify a sender email
  • Authenticate your sending domain
  • Connect your website domain
  • Request an SMS sender ID
  • Connect WhatsApp
