Review Qcom product capabilities

How designated Qcom platform reviewers check a product claim before it can be used in prospect answers.

Updated 22 October 2026

Product capability reviews let designated Qcom platform administrators check the evidence behind a product claim before approving it for prospect answers.

How does review work?

Open Platform knowledge base in the platform administration app, then Product capability reviews. This section is for Qcom's platform reviewers, not a tenant's Knowledge settings.

A technical reviewer checks the claim, its evidence, conditions, limits and relationships with other features. The designated owner separately approves publication. Publishing a help article alone does not approve a product capability.

How do I review a candidate?

  1. Select Review beside the candidate. Check the exact claim and revision shown.
  2. Read its channels, conditions, limits, setup order, evidence and component relationships. Expand Source article and check that wording too.
  3. If you are the designated technical reviewer and have checked the evidence, select Attest technical review, then confirm. This records your review without publishing the claim.
  4. The designated owner opens the candidate, checks it and selects Approve and publish. Confirm only when that wording is approved for prospects.

Changes made while you are reviewing require you to reload the candidate. Repeating an attestation does not extend its review period. After the technical review expires, a new candidate revision needs review.

Why is an action unavailable?

  • Your review role is not assigned. Ask the platform owner to check the designated reviewer and owner accounts. Platform administration access alone does not grant either review role.
  • The candidate is not awaiting review. Published or otherwise unavailable candidates cannot be approved again from this screen. Prepare a new revision when the claim needs to change.
  • There is no current technical review. The owner cannot publish until a designated reviewer has checked the exact candidate. A review expires after 30 days.
  • The candidate or article changed. Refresh and inspect the updated wording before trying again. A review of an older candidate does not approve the new one.
  • Qcom could not complete the review. Refresh the list before retrying. If it continues, ask platform support to investigate; do not assume the claim was published.

Why does a published claim not appear in prospect answers?

The prospect Inbox must select the Knowledge area containing the claim. The area, source and review must still be eligible. If an area was disconnected or archived, the responsible administrator must restore the intended settings. Expired or changed claims need review; reconnecting the area does not bypass that requirement.

Publication makes the claim available as evidence. It does not force Qyra to recommend it when it does not fit the prospect's business.

To inspect the resulting business recommendation, see Review a prospect consultation.
