Getting Started
Take your first payment
Set up a payment action or payment rule, send a test request and confirm where the result is recorded.

Start from what the customer is paying for. A product sale has an order, a booking has an appointment, and a standalone request can use Pay on a Catalog item.

- Connect and verify the payment connection under Operations → Payments.
- For a standalone request, add Pay under the Catalog item’s Customer actions and complete its payment settings.
- For an order or booking, set how and when the customer pays in its payment settings.
- Choose the currency, available payment method and when payment is collected.
- Save and send a test request to yourself.
- Check Operations → Payments for the payment state and the related order, appointment or request.
Do you need a WhatsApp Flow?
An order, booking or Pay action can prepare its own payment request. You don't normally need a separate WhatsApp Flow just to collect payment. For an existing order or booking, use its payment settings so the request stays linked to what the customer owes.
Check the payment result
Open the request and its related order or booking after payment. Check whether the payment is confirmed or still needs attention. Sending a request or opening a checkout page does not prove payment.
Common problems
- Pay is not available. Check the action’s payment settings and the item’s published state.
- The payment method is missing. Check the active payment connection and the allowed methods for the currency.
- The payment is waiting for review. Open Payments and follow the review instructions; do not record a second payment to work around it.
