How Qcom protects your data

Where your data is stored, how it's kept apart, encrypted and backed up, who can see it, and how AI handles it.

Updated 22 October 2026

Your workspace is kept apart

Each workspace's customers, conversations, Catalog and records are kept separate in the database itself, not only in the app. People in one workspace can't see another workspace's data.

Encryption

Qcom uses encryption to protect your data when it's sent and when it's stored, including backups. Passwords are never stored as written.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in the United Kingdom.

Backups

Your data is backed up several times a day. Backups are encrypted and stored separately from the live system.

You control who sees what

Give each person a role, limit what they can view or change, and turn on two-factor sign-in. Private Inboxes keep conversations to the people you add. Actions such as exports, consent changes and deletions are recorded in the audit trail.

Who at Qymmo can see your data

Only named Qymmo staff accounts can reach customer data, for support and operations.

AI and your data

When Qyra drafts or answers, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to produce the reply. OpenAI does not use what Qcom sends it to train its models.

Export or delete your data

You can export your workspace data and request deletion. Some records, such as invoices and payment records, are kept for as long as the law requires. See Export and delete your data.

Certifications

Qcom does not hold a security certification yet. We're working towards ISO 27001, the international standard for information security.

  • Workspace access and customer data
  • Manage your team and roles
  • Read the audit trail
